We rented the apartment for 10 days and it proved to be an excellent choice all the arrangements worked well and the apartment is very convenient to beach and town, it has all the facilities needed the pool area is quiet and secluded. The mid week clean and change of bedclothes, towels etc was an added bonus. The beach is a 10 minute walk with a lovely boardwalk and plenty of restaurants and the town of Alvor has the same. Our holiday in Alfor in the apartment could not of been better and I will return.

There were three adults staying at this apartment and we could not have wished for a better place to stay.The apartment was in a lovely residential area with use of a pool.The apartment itself was well furnished , very clean and had a large balcony, it was situated within a reasonable walking distance to both the beach and Alvor town. I would not hesitate to recommend this property and will certainly stay there again in the future.

Excellent apartment in a great location, ten minutes walk to either the beach or Alvor’s restaurants, or a two minute walk to a lovely Italian restaurant if your feeling lazy! The owner recommended a great little Portuguese café near by where we ate breakfast each morning. The apartment has everything you need for a great stay with plenty of room for two adults and two children. The pool area is lovely and clean and not busy even though we visited in August. Lovely relaxing stay for our first visit to Alvor.

It is my first visit to this apartment and I honestly could not fault it. Lovely rooms, close to the beach, speedy wifi and the list can go on. The swimming pool was perfect and had a peaceful atmosphere. I hope to return very soon.

First time visiting Portugal and chose to rent an apartment so I could go out and experience the local culture, and this place was perfect for that! This apartment had enough space for the four of us who stayed; with a bedroom, living area, bathroom, kitchen and balcony, all of which were very clean and tidy. Every morning I went for a swim in the apartment complex’s pool which was well kept, I often saw a groundsman keeping on top of things throughout the week. There are two televisions (one in the bedroom and one in the living area) both have access to as many channels as you can imagine including English TV. On the balcony there is a fold-away maiden to hang towels and clothes off which came in very handy. The balcony itself is very spacious and I chose to sit out there at some points in the day where it’s shaded and livestream sport on my mobile using the WiFi which I had no issues with. The apartment is situated just a few minutes away from the beach where we enjoyed many of our afternoons, it is also near the centre of Alvor where we went for our evening meals. The food in Alvor is amazing and we enjoyed every meal. To conclude this apartment ticked every box for our holiday, we will be recommending this place to our friends and we look forward to returning in the future!

Just returned from Alvor after a fantastic week away. Immaculate apartment, perfect location with a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and centre of Alvor. Beautiful beaches. Apartment has a great size balcony, is fully equipped and has high speed WiFi. Lovely swimming pool on the complex which is a great size, clean and with surrounding sun beds. Would highly recommend this apartment and Alvor. Already looking forward to returning.

We have just returned from 10 days at this homely appartment. The accommodation is clean, tidy and has some personal finishing touches by the owner. The complex is small and I would say that only six apartments were occupied during our stay which meant it was very peaceful and we had the pool area to ourselves some days. A ten minute walk to shops and restaurants but we enjoyed the exercise, we also found a little bar and Italian Pizzeria within a two minute walk of the apartments. A very relaxing enjoyable stay.

This lovely Alvor apartment was exactly as described, very clean, well decorated, well equipped and very comfortable, excellent WiFi, spacious south facing balcony and an excellent pool area. It is in a very quiet area but convenient for the beach, town and restaurants. Very good communication with the owner

Fantastico appartamento, perfetto per la nostra luna di miele. A pochi minuti dalla bellissima spiaggia, dal centro in cui troverete buonissimi ristoranti, ma comunque lontana da strade trafficate. Il condominio è molto tranquillo, la piscina è perfetta per rinfrescarsi, specialmente dopo aver preso il sole su uno dei tanti lettini che ci sono!! L’appartamento ha tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno, con WI-FI veloce, un ampio balcone in cui mia moglie poteva prendere il sole anche li, due TV, cucina equipaggiata con tutto il necessario.. la proprietaria è stata disponibilissima a rispondere a tutte le nostre domande, o evenienze, prima, durante e anche dopo la nostra rimanenza!! Una delle migliori vacanze mia fatte!!! Sicuramente ci torneremo!!

On arrival at apartment Delfimar our first reaction was how spotless and homely it was. It has everything you could possibly need. The pool is lovely and every time we used it we were the only ones in it. The beautiful beach is a 10 mum walk away with really nice places to have a snack, lunch, dinner or even just a drink and take in the sea views. Alvor centre is a 15 min walk. There are cafes, bars and restaurant a plenty to suit any taste. Also in the centre is a large Supermarket. If you want to get a taxi anywhere the rank is also in the town centre which offers a great service and is very reasonable. This was our first visit to Alvor and will not be the last for sure. The host’s were amazing from the minute we booked . They gave us every bit of information we needed and more and so promptly.

A magnificent apartment set about 10 minute walk from the town of Alvor or the beach. The apartment is extremely clean, quiet and well equipped. The pool area is wonderful and gets the sun all day long. It makes a change not to fight for a sun bed. Alvor is beautiful fishing town with a marina and abundance of restaurants and bars. The fish and seafood is magnificent. There is a lovely board walk that takes you along the beach to the marina. I would totally recommend a stay in the delightful apartment and the owner Rachel is helpful and quick to respond to any questions and queries.

Just back after our second stay at Rachel and Adrian’s apartment. Apartment is conveniently located within a 10 minute walk to either the lovely beach or all the lovely restaurants in Alvor. As mentioned in other reviews anytime we used the pool we were the only people there. We will be returning again in the future.

This was my second visit to Alvor and the apartment. With lovely gated entrance the apartment grounds are superb, very well maintained and very tidy and clean. The pool was fabulous again very clean and well maintained with lovely sun loungers and large shade umbrellas. The apartment itself was fantastic very well equipped from tea bags to a washing machine, home from home with great TV and Wifi. Spotlessly clean with a lovely south facing balcony with table and chairs for outside dining I couldn’t fault it. A10 minute walk to a beautiful white sandy beach that stretches for miles. For walkers, a great boardwalk so you can walk all the way along the beach to the town of Alvor. Alvor is a 10 minute walk from the apartment. Beautiful place with a wonderful supermarket and fabulous restaurants. There are fantastic fish restaurants, local Portuguese restaurants, English and even Indian eating places so there is something for everyone plus lovely bars all very reasonably priced. Communication with the owners was great they were so helpful before I left giving me an insight into Alvor and I knew I could contact them at anytime if needed whist I was away. I would without a doubt go back to Alvor and this apartment time and time again.

Very quiet, low key development of apartments in a good location with a nice mix of residents and renters. Homely apartment which was ideal for a relaxing holiday. We usually spend a lot of time at the beach when in Alvor but as the pool here was so quiet….indeed most of the time we had it all to ourselves…we spent a lot of of our non sightseeing days here. Rachel the owner was very helpful and easily contactable which was good when we had problems locating the development.

We got back yesterday from a fantastic stay at the Defimar apartment. The apartment is spacious, really clean, with all the equipment you will need then some. A lovely spacious balcony to relax on, just to the side of a top notch pool area (I could not keep the wife away) There are a few bars, shops and restaurants 2 minutes away, or you have a 10 minute stroll down hill to the town centre. We would walk down and get a 4 or 5 euro taxi back plenty of taxis in the town. To sum up the location we booked as a 40 people wedding party scattered all over Alvor, we was by far the nearest to the town and paid less than anybody. Me and the wife had a great time and would not hesitate to go back to the Delfimar.

Loved our stay here . The apartment is very clean and with everything you need for your stay and competitively priced which makes it perfect .There’s a supermarket 10 minutes away and the centre of town is a 15 min stroll downhill . The pool area is clean and very quiet , we stayed a week and had it to ourselves everyday ! Would definitely return . – SR

Stayed for 1 week with my partner and 9 yr old son. Lovely apartment, very clean and had everything we needed. Pool also lovely. 10 mins to beach and shops so a perfect holiday. Have already booked again for July 2018!

Spent a very enjoyable week in this lovely apartment in Alvor. Four adults, so two on the very comfortable sofa bed and two in the bedroom. Plenty of space for four people and a large balcony area that was a real bonus. The kitchen is well equipped if you feel like cooking but if not Alvor with all its bars and restaurants is a short walk away. The pool was great to relax in and to cool off. Plenty of parking space outside if you have a car. Highly recommended.
